How is my pronunciation scored? Lingo records your voice, compares its sound to a synthesized native reference on-device, and shows an approximate per-word heatmap and score. Nothing is uploaded.
Does it work offline? Yes. Practice and scoring run entirely on your iPhone, including on a flight or commute with no signal.
Is there a free trial? Introductory free trials are set per region by the App Store. Open the Pro screen in the app: if a trial is available to you, the purchase button says so and gives its exact length. If it does not, there is no trial in your region and the first payment is taken immediately.
How do I cancel my subscription? iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lingo → Cancel.
How do I restore a previous purchase? Settings tab in-app → Restore purchases.
How do I reset my progress? Settings tab in-app → Reset progress.
